I just got some installed and the y does bang the floor. I'm going to go to an exhaust shop and get them to bend the pipe to fit the dip in the floorboard. Thats what everyone tells me to do. It worked for them.

Take a 4" angle grinder and cut out the part of the floorpan that's in your way. It took me a little while to get it right, but my pipe now has good clearance. My Kooks setup tucks way too well.

Anything else is just a bandaid and isnt solving the problem. Welding valve spring?!? wtf, Please fix it right.
