Default Video:2.5" TD's with 1 Chambers

This is a video that I made this past weekend. http://video.ls1tech.com/Player.aspx...1-78D744FE34ED The car has jet hot headers, 2.5" exhaust, x-pipe and single chamber flows. The my setup is currently dumped. I had some 3 bolt flanges put on the ends of the mufflers so that I could run tailpipes out the back on long trips, or have this dumped setup with I want to be loud.

Especially when they are close to your house. You don't have to go far to play.

That does sound sweet. You don't have a cam, right?

jmm98LS1: Is that what your's sounds like on the outside? Or are you like me, never heard your car drive-by from the outside?

I don't know what rpm he was at when he drove by, based on the sound I'd guess ~3-4k or so. I actually have heard my car from the outside, and it's got the exact same tone as 67ss&99z28's, but mine seems a bit louder/deeper. I'm sure my cam is part of the reason, and the fact that sound is so subjective on little computer speakers. So....short answer is yes, that's pretty much what mine sounds like, maybe a lil bit louder.....pretty damn close though.

It rattle's the interior some for sure. Not bad but its noticable. With the tailpipes on it, there is none. I was at about 4500 when I let out of it.

Man i was lucky to get that one in. My neighbor is a georgia state trooper lol. I might do another clip this weekend, on a more secluded road. and to answer an earlier question, no I do not have a cam. Flowmaster part number 325108 2.5" 1 chamber race muffler. I would be nice though, along with a stall.

Thinking of switching from the 4x9 Magnaflow's I have now to something a little meaner, but I don't know if the neighbors can stand it. It's pretty loud as it is now

Flowmaster Single Chambers rock on TD setups. I have Hooker LT's, 2.5", X-Pipe, No cats and 2 Flowmaster 1-Chambers dumped. Its loud as **** but it also has that deep aggressive tone that a muscle car should have. I've had mine on for a year and have never been stopped by the Cops for loud exhausts. I live in a golf villa where theirs a bunch of old people and they dont give a **** unless I'm revving it in my driveway. I'm thinking of switching out my Single Chambers for the Flowmaster Outlaw Race Series mufflers as well as changing out my X-Pipe for an H-Pipe. Would it sound deeper and louder if I did that?

I dunno anything about the outlaw mufflers, but changing the x-pipe for an h-pipe would probably make it a lil bit deeper. I've got a flowmaster merge on my car, it's kind of a mix between and "X" and "H" and it sounds incredible.
