Default Swap suncoast air box for reg lid.....

Hey everyone, my Trans Am came with the suncoast hood and there "ram air" intake set up. The big intake seals up to hood so my air enters threw the hood. Ive heard a few times that at higher speeds it will create a little more power than a lid but is this true? I hate the look of this set up and would like a lid for looks as i am spicing up my engine bay. I know i need the lower airbox support if i swapped back but anything else? Where can i get all the stuff needed, is it worth the swap as in no power loss?

I wouldnt think it would be worth the money and to tell you the truth I like how your air box looks. I would trade with you in a heart beat if mine wasnt already painted to match my car.
