does anyone know the stock size of the LS1-LS6 intake
i need to know the mouth opening where the throttle body mates up,.

If the stock throttle body is 75mm , is the intake side the same
please let me know

its not bigger than 78mm i know that. i was pretty sure its 75mm though, i might be wrong though

just measure mine with digital calipers...its 75mm average of 74.80 mm.and i believe the ls6 intake is the same.

i just want to know because if i get a bigger throttle body , like the Fast 78MM it wont be worth it , it would hit a wall if the stock intake is only 75mm and the throttle body is 78mm

ok cool, can you please measure the back of the throttle body also, where it mates up the neck of the intake

if i had one i would,my car is stored in a big facility,i just have a stock ls1 intake manifold.i am pretty sure the back of the throttle body would be 75mm also.

someone else told me they measured thers with a micrometer and came up with 74.6 or so MM

you can open up the intake opening a little ,using a dremel .
