mulfflex y nightmare.
after the easiest lt install of the century (pacesetters) i went to throw the y pipe on and it was not even close. i bought it from thunder so im thinking that maybe it got mixed up and i got one of the ones for the qtp lt's. it was 2" too short to even slip on the collectors, and i can go on for a week about all the things thats didnt fit. it would have been easier and cheaper to build a custom y. heres the pics of the finished install u can get the drift from them.
the cutout is way too low and te car is way too loud so im thinking of remving it and putting a cat in its place. other than that im happy with the finished product.

Your nightmare looks like a pretty sweet finished product. Fabbing things is always a pain, but your overall clearance looks good and the setup should flow very well.

I wouldn't swap the cutout for a restrictive cat, after that beautiful merge. Two cats in the Y are much better than one in the I. Maybe a bullet muffler, or Borla XR-1 in place of the cutout.

If I was doing a y-pipe setup, i'd have an ORY, that merge, an electric cutout, and the stock catback.
