Default what setup will sound the best

Im starting this thread for my friend who has a 99 ss . He is just about to put his pacesetter longtubes on and is wanting some advise on what setup would sound the best. He has a ls6 cam i dont know the cam specs and his car has sportlines on them and is about 1'-1 1/2 drop. If you got some sound clips it would help greatly.

From my personal experiance I have Hooker LT's through an X pipe and sweet thunders dumped under the axle. It sounds absolutly nasty, but gets a little old sometimes. If it wasn't for the droning and rattling my car apart I'd say exact same setup as me, but I think in the future I might get a good catback with a cutout. Just my .02
