Default AC and PS delete question

I'm thinking of using an LS1 in a '65 roadster replica that weights 2200-2300 lb and has manual steering (~45% weight on the front). I will be deleting both the AC and the PS leaving only WP and ALT. I'm assuming an underdrive pulley at this point would do more harm than good. What do you think?

Nope! I run no PS, no AC, and an underdrive pulley on an automatic without any problems.

Just pull the a/c belt and it's deleted.

You can remove the compressor, comressor bracket (and a/c belt tensioner), condenser (in front of radiator), the accumulator (some call it the dryer), and all the lines associated.

Another option (this how I run mine) is to put on a electric water pump then you only need to run one short belt from the pulley to the alt. This makes it nice and clean not having the serpintine belt and no belt tensioner's and brackets either. BMR sells the alt bracket to do this mod, just an FYI.
