Need your advice on exhaust!
I really like what i hear about slp loudmouth II but i have not heard the exhaust in person. I am wondering if anyone has this exhaust and if they have any advice for me. Let me know!

Dunno know about the LM2 but I have the LM1 with stock CATS and Y pipe.
And IMO it sounds brilliant, it is decently loud outside and you'll hear it from a mile away easy, so if you don't have understanding neighbours you might want to reconsider.
In the car it's actually not bad at all, you can cruise with the stereo on quite easily but it does sound like a proper muscle car.
If it where me I'd go for an LM1, if it turns out too loud maybe add a different muffler (Borla, Dynomax, Maganflow or even an LM2 race muffler) there are lots of possibilities.

Going with the LM I or II it is what is says. It is LOUD. If you have stock headers/stock y-pipe it won't sound that bad. But once you go with lt's or mac mid's with an ory (off road y-pipe) it's get's raspy and even louder. Trust me I would know and I am hating it. I was running mac mids, mac ory, lm I and it wasn't bad at first. I like it. But as soon as I put the cam in, it was un-bearable. I couldn't take it. So I bought a LM II resonater. Took the LM I off and put the LM II in it's place. It quitened it down a bit, but it is still raspy. If I remember, when I get off work I will try and upload a few vid's for you to listen to

Well thanks for letting me know without making me feel like a complete dumb ***. Right now the only other mod other than the exhaust is a cold air intake kit i bought off of ebay. It was by "track-racing". If anyone knows anything about the intake brand, i would appreciate it if someone could let me know if it's any good or not. it did come with a K&N. I also really appreciate the exhaust tips. Keep em coming!

I have LM, shorty headers, and no cats and ABSOLUTLY LOVE it. And I have never had anyone complain or say it sounds like crap. Their is some rasp without cats but I like that makes it sound more raw IMO.

I don't know what all this 'drone' talk is. There is none on a LM1 setup, sure it's LOUD at 2000rpm but it certainly isn't drone (my V12 XJS had drone and beleive me you'd know it when you expericence it, and the LM doesn NOT have it).
Nor IMO does it sound raspy, not anywhere near. Very deep and purposeful sounding.
If you plan on LT's and a Y pipe, just get a catted one, it won't hurt performance and will keep the exhaust sounding good. Plus it will also keep you emissoins legal.

I just put my LMII on sale for local pickup in Detroit. Tore it off the car yesterday and replaced it with a Corsa.
It was just too loud for me. My car is a vert, I drive alot on the highway, and often take 100-200 mile trips. For this use I just couldn't stand it. It was fun at first and for 10-20 minute trips or a weekend car, I probably would have kept it.
With stock manifolds and cats, you will get no rasp. But it is still loud, very loud. Think overall volume similar to straight pipes but with a sort of refined sound. The kind of volume you can use to avoid talking to your girlfriend.
Me personally, I didn't care for the tone at all. It is tuned more for volume and less for depth. Just my 0.02... think about what you want to hear very carefully. If you are at all concerned about it being too loud, it probably is.
