Short belt mod?
I'm debating on taking of my PS pump.
I can figure out what size belt I need, but I read something about grinding an alternater bolt or cutting the bracket... why would you have to do this? Cant you just take off the pump and run a shorter belt?
thanks!

You can pull out the alternator bracket bolt and the bracket will still be solid. When you route the belt it will be pretty obvious which one you have to pull. If your not running skinnies it's really not worth pulling the PS pump. No PS is a real bitch on the street with 275s up front.

Steering is kinda a bitch, but managable.
When I drain all the fluid, and take the pump completely off will it get a bit easier?
