Default stamped metal under y pipe.

After header install, I can't reinstall the stamped metal with 4 bolts that ran under the y. IS THIS A PROBLEM?

Someone told me that it helped to prevent body twisting but I'm not thinking it's strong enough.

Just space it out with some washers, then bend it a little bit with a wrench.

there's no way that little pos could help prevent anything from twisting. it's like stamped .00001" thick steel. it's amazing how much the factory exhaust weighs. i think one manifold/cat combo weighs more than both of my pacesetter coated longtube headers.

I bent it in half and then tossed it. So some other undeserving individual doesnt find it and think that they need it.

Been sitting in a box for months. Always said I'd modify it to put it back, but there really isn't any point.
