Default Will Pacesetters Work W/SLP Y-Pipe

I currently have an SLP Catted Y pipe and am going to order pacesetter headers. I'm planning on running no cats so thats not a problem, but i just want to make sure the Headers will bolt up to the Y-Pipe

Thanks

ttt. I'm not sure if i will have to get Mid-length Headers with the stock flange, or would it be easy to modify and get longtubes with the slip on collectors? I really want longtubes and i really want them coated

Pacesetter coated headers $380 shipped from Byunspeed, go with the Pacesetter, or TSP ORY, should come to a total of around $500 for a nice new (coated) set of longtubes and Y
BTW if you're in California you either get shorties, or stay stock, no other header type is legal

So the SLP Y-pipe that you're running now has flanges at the top and is bolted to the factory manifolds? If so, yes you will need to get rid of that Y-pipe and buy a Pacesetter Y-pipe that work with their LTs or have a local exhaust shop modify your SLP Y-pipe to work with the Pacesetters.

The Y-Pipe that i have now is catted so it has flanges at the bottom and from the looks of it it looks like it would work with long tubes when the cats are unbolted. the Y-pipe dosen't run all the way up to the manifolds it stops at the cats. From pictures it dosent look as if it is any different than one i would be buying. I would hate to spend two hundred bucks on somthing i already have.

That's what I meant, just came out wrong. The Y-pipe that you have was made to work with the factory manifolds. It will not work with the Pacesetter LTs without being cut/modified by an exhaust shop.
