From what I have heard the new design fits better than any other brand. I hope its true cause I got a set w/o AIR/EGR & TSP ORY commin in.

I would say they're the easiest header to install on the ls1 fbody. I've done macs, pacesetters, jet-hots.

They install really easily and I've got way better clearance than my buddy's hookers.

I didnt even remove my spark plugs when I did mine. I know that is kinda risky but I got luck I guess. Anyway, they went in without a hitch. Didnt have to remove the steering column either. Good luck on the install.

They are SO easy to install, its seriously harder to change the spark plugs. Good luck!

I think it took just as long to get the stock stuff off as it did to install the headers and get the adjustable Y close to the correct position. I took some driver side plugs out and I think some on the passenger side.

Ok, I really need to know this, do pacesetters bolt up easier than jet hot's? I've heard good about both, and some bad about the pacesetter's. Maybe it was about the old ones though. Any help would be appreciated.

The old pacesetters had fitment issues involving disconnecting the steering shaft and possibly notching the k-member, but the newer style ones really fit better than I would have ever imagined

I can't speak for the jet hots though

From experience: yes, the Pacesetters do bolt up very easily! You will be impressed with how smooth of an install it really is.

I can't wait to get under my car and pop in some pacesetters. I heard they're a breeze to install.

Had no problems with fitment on my pacesetters... slid them in from the bottom and got the bolts started. piece of cake.

the coated pacesetters should last awhile even in ohio if you wash them off periodically.

yeah living in the tri state area of indiana, ohio, and kentucky the weather sucks but i just installed my headers in december with a friend and the hardest part really was getting the old Y pipe off the damn stock manifolds broke every bolt that hold the cats on with a air gun. they slide right in and bolt up perfect the Y pipe mounting was harder then bolting in the headers lol and we did it in a small garage with jack stands, that was a fun time lol.

The new design pacesetters install way easier than the jet hots. How many more "just order the pacesetters" posts do you need to hear before you buy them??

From my experience the fitment on Pacesetters is outstanding.
Everything fit perfect, and tucks up in place even better than the stock stuff.
