How hard is it to change the belts in a 00 WS6? Looks like there is two?

Easy as hell. The small one on the passenger side is for the A/C.

That's what I thought. Is there a tensioner that you have to put a socket+braker bar/rachet on to release tension, and it comes off? My truck is like that.

I just changed that main drive belt and that tensioner and idler pully.Does anyone know where to get that idler and tensioner for the a/c. Napa doesn't have a clue wtf i'm talking about.The dealer is too expensive!

Yes the tentioner is on the passenger side, don't know how you could miss it? If you don't know how to change the belts you might benifit from going to Autozone and buying a Chilton's manual. Which will help you down the road until you become familiar with the LS1. Just my .02

The best way to find out which one is the tensioner is to pull on the belt and the pulley that moves(swings) is the tenisoner.

I've got one that's used if you want it? Pay shipping plus paypal 3% and it's yours. Has 40,xxx on it.

Thanks anyway but I want a new one because i'm just changing all the belts and pulleys for normal maintence.

I know how to change belts, just wondering if that is how it is done
