Default headers for my firehawk

I am about to purchase some headers for my 99 firehawk. I was just curious if I can use my exaust system I have now with the new headers, although I am not sure what exaust came with my firehawk. Also, I know I have a lid but should I do the cut out on the tray that holds the filter or just leave it alone.

You will have to use a different y pipe. I used Hooker headers with their y (no cats) and it bolts to the factory cat-back. The stock Firehawk cat-back is actually the SLP dual dual.

You can cut out the bottom of the tray if you want. I did mine. Do the job cleanly though, take car of that 'Hawk.

Call SLP with your vin # and find out what numer your car is and then register it on www.firehawk.org

If you have a a4 car, dont ever worry about dyno number, they will always be low, but it will run alot better at the track !
