Oil catch can.. Which hose?????
Hey guys,, need some help. I got a oil catch can, but what line do I plug it into. There are a lot of hoses coming in by the throttle body and pcv.
Also, what should I use for a filter inside my can? Thanks.

Is it the hose that runs along side of the valve cover. So I should disconnect that hose from the side of the pcv and connect it to the can. Then from the can back to the pcv????

The only spot I can see putting it is the line running from top of the valve cover to the throttle body. Could someone send me there email so I could send a picture of my engine bay,,, thanks a bunch.

Having the same issue. From what i understand it is the line that goes from the pcv valve to the throttle body. Just cut and put it in between there. Mount it so that it is easy to empty.

On the old LS1's without the LS6 valley plate:
BEFORE MODS
There is a hose going from the topside of the throttle body to the front passenger side rocker cover....leave that intact. It puts fresh filtered air IN to the rocker cover.
There is a PCV hose assembly which starts at rear drivers side, links to rear passenger side, then comes forward and across towards the side of the Intake manifold on the front passenger side , just there is the PCV valve inside a 2" long rubber boot with a wire strap attached . From the rubber PCV boot there is another short slightly bent rubber section 2" long which fits onto a nipple on the side of the Intake Manifold. Look about 2 inches behind your throttle body on the passenger side. This is the oily air line INTO the intake manifold.
Disconnect this slightly bent rubber boot from the male nipple cast onto the side of the intake manifold.
Take the PCV hose assembly with PCV valve intact and run this to the IN port of your catch can.
Now run a hose from the OUT port of your catch can to the male nipple on the side of the intake manifold.

Those pictures helped out a lot, thank you. Just one last question. What is inside the can? Anything? Any kind of baffling or filter. I have a homemade can. Someone told me to put some steelwool inside, but that don't seem safe. Or should I just buy one of the cans online?

Take your can apart and have a look inside. If it's cheap there is probably nothing in there.
Do you have those shiny, stainless steel pot scrubber type things there ?
I'd use one of those. You want something with a lot of surface area, but which wont fall apart.
The AMW cans have a built in baffle full of material already in them, but they are close to $200.
