Default FActory SS & Firehawk Muffler Flow #'s

Does anybody have any flow number comparisons for the 2002 factory SS & Firehawk mufflers versus the SLP Dual/Dual and other mufflers?

I know the Dual/Dual was supposed to be worth 15 hp over the SS & Firehawk muffler but I have a hard time believing that.

I guess you're right 02Red Hawk. My SS doesn't have the dual/dual and I don't think it has the same muffler as the oem Z28 either. The firehawk base was 345hp and the SS was 325hp. My SS sounds pretty good actually but I see that SLP has clearance priced the original Dual/Dual and if I thought it'd actually give me the additional hp I'd buy it.

It is correct that intake lid and exhaust were the two items that supposedly bumped the hp to 345 isn't it? And I have the lid and smooth bellow already.

slp dual dual is one of the best flowing..abd quiet exhausts...but clearance price? I checked..and the price hasn't changed.

Yep, it was the lid and exhaust as the two differences.

$295 is a heckuva deal for the D/D system. I'm sure there are better flowing options out there - but also at the cost of being much louder / noisier. Also, I doubt you'll find the other options anywhere close to that cheap $$$. Go for it!
