Thumbs up Simply In AWE of Nick Williams' Throttle Bodies (PICS!)

To say that Nick Williams is the manufacturer of the best throttle bodies on the planet is an understatement.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nick over the weekend, and it was one of the most memorable experiences in my life to date. I saw one of Nick's posts here on 'tech and noticed that he is in NC, about an hour away from me. After a few PMs and phone calls, he offered to stay AFTER 5 OCLOCK on FRIDAY to meet and show me around his place of business, and answer all of the MANY newbie questions I had. I graciously accepted his generous offer in a heartbeat - who wouldn't?

The results? Check these out:

Talk about artwork! Nick gave me an hour long tour of his domain, during which he explained to me the general differences and improvements that he made over other throttle bodies' designs. He was even kind enough to let me check out one actually being made - VERY cool!

To meet a VIP in the LS1 world is one thing, but one staying late on a Friday to show me around, treat me like family, and just plain talk cars with is something completely different. Believe me folks, I've seen it first hand: Any of you 90mm guys that go with a cheap knockoff TB are NUTS. There are so many differences between this TB and others, it is unreal.

I'll post more pics when I get this and my ported FAST manifold installed. Thanks again Nick, and any of you that were deciding between this TB and another unit - this should make your decision quite a bit easier.

Awesome product, and made in the USA! What more do you want?

I'll be ordering a 90/90 setup for mine tomorrow.

Actually, he doesn't sell direct! I just took some pictures of a throttle body there. His throttle bodies are retailed by most sponsors of this site.

No site since he doesn't sell direct. Going price is ~$419.99.

And, as TheBlurLS1 pointed out - this product is made right here in the USA. Can't beat that!

I agree. The Nick Williams TBs are a work of art, and they function flawlessly. Felt the same way when I got my NW 90.

Yup Nick is a stand up guy and does excellent work. He's worked on all my cars and will be doing a head install soon on my car as soon as his shop opens. I fully trust his workmanship. I can say he gives 110% in what he does.
