Default Service Engine Light/new Intake

after driving around with my new volant intake...the service engine light came on. Im guessing its normal due to the change in air flow..any opinions?

the light is probably related to the mod, pull your battery cables for an hour and try it again.

Do you have any exhaust mods? After I put my lid and catback on I through a code for a bad cat. Put stock intake back on code went away, Guessing it was just flowing through the cat so much better that it thought it was bad

I wouldn't guess...get the code scanned and see what it is.

Take it to either autozone or advanced auto and they will read the codes for you for free. That will give you a better idea of what is wrong if anything

Get the codes pulled. Its possibly in intake sensor throwing the code. IAT, MAF, or possibly EGR. I would though strongly suggest against disconnecting your battery. Doing so will erase the vehicles current adaptive driving traits that it has learned in the past. Just have the code pulled and erased.
