Don't ever hesitate to ask those kinds of questions. We were all there at one point.

I still don't know if "raceweight" means with you in the car or without you in the car.

Anybody know?

No man...Actually I don't.

Getting all into the "technical racing" aspect of owning one of these cars has never really been high on my list of importance. Its there, but more importantly (at least to me) is the condition of the car, build numbers, option codes...all that "nerdy BS" is what I am into...

There is always going to be someone faster so I don't think about just racing all that much...I will have some "fun" of course every now and then...I'm not ALL "Nerd"...

A guess from me would be that its having to do with reducing down all un-necessary weight to the car.Seats, sway bars,A/C,wheel choices...etc..

Thats my guess for now...

BTW..in case you thought my 'What a dumb question" comment was meant seriously at all,it wasn't.Just messing around after everyone including myself said that there is basically no such thing as a "Dumb Question"...No offense man...

Driver in the car. Basically all of the weight the car will go down the track with, IIRC.

Thanks! Mine weighed 3600 exactly, with me in it, at HRP after a run one night with about 1/8 tank of gas. It also had the spare, jack, front swaybar, all seats, and big tires and wheels. Plus I weigh about 200lbs.

Going to the gym also lightens up the raceweight.
