Default SUX2BU intake questions

I kinda want to do this, I just have a few questions- is the windshield wiper fluid the only thing that has to be removed? And does the piping block air from reaching the radiator?

and- it looks like it's really easy to get your filter wet in the rain, or even in a car wash. I know it probably hasn't been around long enough for anyone to have had problems with that yet, but is there any kind of precaution you guys think I could take if I decide to do it?

Thanks a lot

does that compromise the structural integrity of that member that you are drilling huge holes through?

In short - yes.

It must do as it is a stress bearing part of the monocoque. The question is how much does it affect it.

I'm also not keen on losing the washer bottle either. I was wanting to do something similar using some PiperCross filters but I abandoned the idea. Maybe something like the Volant would work well if you could totally seal the airbox and introduce some cool air ducts utilising the nose cone.
