Default Heating System Delete

Took my AC out a while ago and was thinking of removing the heating system too. If I do, what is the best way to cap off the inlet and outlet holes in the water pump for the 2 heater hoses? Any other considerations that need to taken into account other than the hoses and draining the heater core?

I think you can just connect them via rad hose, should be fine, or I guess you could weld them shut
