Louder than expected
Hello all!
I'm a recent owner of a ls1 trans am (as of this morning!) The car came with LT headers, y-pipe, and SLP loudmouth, and WOW, is that loud. Perhaps I'm getting too old, but the drone at 75mph is giving me a head ache already!
Suggestions for daily driver with quiet 70mph+ and so I don't have to budget $200 a month for noise violation tickets?
I'm looking for a nice smooth muscle car growl.
:o)

Anyone know part # or the borla and dynomax? I checked out ls1sounds.com, but was't alot of samples for those setups, any opinions on borla vs dynomax? Borla is obviously more expensive.

What? SLP dual dual one of the quietest? I think not, plus SLP is what he said he has on it now.

BTW the TSP rumbler catback is basically a dynomouth, and on mine it's loud, but definately not as loud as the loudmouth, so far I haven't had any complaints from the neighbors, or bitching from the police about the noise, it has some drone at 70mph, but turning up the radio drowns it out
Try listening to the rumbler catback on ls1sounds
