Best/Largest throttlebody for an LS6 intake?

Talking Best/Largest throttlebody for an LS6 intake?

I was thinking of upgrading and am unsure which to get or which works best?

I cant port mine out as I dont have the tools.

just send it somewhere to get ported. a ported stocker is just as good as any for an LS6 intake.

Porting your own TB is pretty easy and free, all you need is a Dremel or similar. Or you can get it done for like ~$75.

Porting won't make your TB bigger, it will remain at 78mm (I think, if not it's 75mm can't remember off the top off my head). But it will open up the opening of the TB, this will imporve air flow and is worth a reasonable amount of HP, even more so when you consider the cost.

TPIS offer a 90mm round and a 90mm oval TB for the LS6 intake, but the manifold also needs to be modified. Personally I don't think you can beat a STOCK ported TB, many people have made BIG bhp using them.

send it out, worth the $75 to just let someone do it and not waste your time in possibly screwing it up, i think bo does the best job, check out his website

$75 bucks for a ported one here at new era performance one of our sponsers but id do it yourself for 35 bucks for a dremel at walmart and the expieriance
