Default Exhaust

Is there any way to have LT's stock y then cats and just pipes out from that? Anyone have a soundclip of that. because i dont feel like spending $400 or so dollars for a complete catback when a local pipe shop will bend pipes for whatever i need and do it pretty cheap. I want to have cats because i like low growl and i dont want it to be too d@mn loud.

I do believe the answer is no....you would have to run a catted aftermarket y-pipe if you run LT'S....shorty headers may be a different story though.

If you have shorties people say they bolt in place out of where the stock exhaust ends....however I really don't know if it would cause any issues but I do know it would be somewhat louder.

Oh lol, don't forget, keeping shorties will keep the emissions legal status if and only if they have a carb number.
