tsp rumbler vs. loudmouth
Which one do you guys think sounds better, I have checked out ls1sounds.com but in person is different than over the computer. I planned on just getting the loudmouth but have an oppurtunity to pick a rumbler up for $100 dollars. Right now everything is stock and is my daily driver so I only plan on a cat-back right now, so I'm looking for the best sounding one.

i have the LM and i love it. if you plan on going with headers some day, go with the rumbler. headers will sound better with the rumbler. if no plans for header i recomend the LM. i get complements all the time on mine

The rumbler isn't as loud as the LM (IMO @ idle it isn't alot louder than the stock exhaust) it really gets loud when you go WOT (I've gotten alot of compliments on the sound)
Now I have headers and ORY, it's gotten somewhat louder (still not enough to **** off the neighbors unless I start reving it)
BTW there is some drone at about 70mph, but nothing turning the radio up won't drown out

I have the rumbler and love the way it sounds, I personally have heard the loudmouth too and like the way the rumbler sounds better. PLus if you have a chance to get it for $100 go for it. It does have a little drone around 1800-2000 rpm but not bad.

Yeah, the 1-chamber right now is simply welded in place of the stock muffler and it has a turn down, I wanted a straight threw muffler in place of the restrictive 1 in 2 out stock Z28 muffler.

i have the loudmouth and i love it... its loud as hell during WOT, and it sounds perfect during normal cruising rpms. U might get a little drone at ~2000 rpm or so, but it has never bothered me, or my g/f, if she can deal with it u can

For $100 I'd give the rumbler a shot.
I personally do not like the sound quality of the loudmouth system at all. It is not a "deep" sounding system in my opinion and rather focuses on just being all out loud, which is not my thing. My recommendation to anyone considering a loudmouth is to just get a cut out and be done with it.
But my preferences are different than many on this board. I could not imagine living with a loudmouth in my daily driver.
Carrying on a conversation? Gone.
Talking on the phone? Gone.
Taking a 3 hour drive without going half deaf? Gone.
Pulling up or starting your car without drawing attention from anyone in a 50 foot radius? Gone.
I do realize that the last point, is what many people want, and I probably would have loved it 10 years ago, as well.

I have the LM and listening to music or talking on the phone is no hassle. even crusing at 90mph on crusie control it's still easy to hold a conversation.
As for attracting attention, isn't that half the purpose of getting a louder exhaust? Who in their right mind wants to upgrade from stock and not get the effect of driving a loud muscle car??
