MAF Sensor
Im thinking about ordering a MAF sensor with a lid and filter. Is the MAF worth the money when right now im stock.Im debating between the SLP and the Grantelli MAF($150 more than the SLP). Some people say not to go with the MAF use the money on another mod. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Search is your friend here, but I'll lay the skinny down for you. NO a SLP or Granitelli is not worth the money they need to be tuned and your stock MAF will hold 450rwhp and a Zo6 MAF will hold 550rwhp and its only 135 from the stealership. I have a SLP MAF and I lost power wil it i ran way too rich from 11.3-12.6 which is way off. and it advanced my timing which didnt help. Highly recommend against it. Spend the money elsewhere

My opinion...I did notice a difference on the dyno on my 2002 Z28 when I went to an SLP MAF and a LS1 Motorsports (no longer in business) air lid.
But the difference was so minimal, so low could have been error in dyno, or change in humidity/temp etc....4-5 horses
If I could start over again with that car, I would have focused on other mods first, namely Headers and Off Road Y, Rear End Ratio, and NOS were the most satisfying mods I made.
My latest car a 2000 Ws6, I just completed the header and ORY...good difference in power and sound!
