Default catch can or breather filter

I got a 2001 ws6 modded. running 231/237 .589/.595 112 w/ LS6 PP 59cc heads. I'm getting a ses code of 1135/1153 I think its cause of high compression (11.4-1). could be causing oil film that is inside of intake, ses light comes on and off. off after awhile, then back on after awhile too. I have noticed when ses light is on engine is surging alot more to find idle when I come to a stop. when ses light is off engine rpm will drop to about 500rpm's climb to about 1000rpm's then settle to 850 idle. (that's where I have it idling at) also during ses light on, have noticed blue smoke (oil) in the mornings after engine has sat over night. I'm thinking cause of high compression more oil is going into intake. can I install breather filter or do I need a catch can? any info would be appreciated.

thanks

Default

do the breather filter. If you keep the pcv system oil will get into the motor no matter what. Someone else correct me if I am wrong but I think these breathers will work. I just ordered a set for my car. http://shop.knfilters.com/KNShop/Pro...px?pid=62-1480
As far as the ses light, I dont know why that is coming on.
