I have an 98 ls1 with a lid k&n, cat back flowmasters and a hypertech...

the plan is a cam stall, ls6 intake, dual valve springs and headers...

now for the questions

shorties mids or long tube headers???

To realize the full gains from the cam, you want long tubes.

hypertech may not be sufficient for a good cam as far as tuning requirements are concerned.

Agreed 100% with oxidizr on the tune and definitley longtubes, you can get pacesetters cheap and the new design makes them easier to install I've heard

Just installed the new pacesetter LT's and ORY bout a month ago. It was a breeze. Never done it before, took my time. Beer breaks, rest breaks, breaks for no reason. Me and the wife, in the garage, 4 days, a couple hours each day after work. Would have been 3 days but had to wait on the new plugs and wires. LT's are the way to go. Great mod.
