Default What O2 wire does what?

I had a white wire going to my O2 sensor get cut. I spliced it back together last night, but I've heard that you can't do that because it changes the signal.

But my question is, our O2s are heated, so obviously at least two of the wires are for heating the O2s and I'm guessing the other two are used to communicate O2 readings. So if the white wire is for heating the O2, I'm not worried, but if it's for transmitting readings, I may be forced to buy a new O2.

purple is for o2 feedback, the rest are system ground and power/ground for heater

It obviously doesn't matter too too much considering Pacesetter sends extra wire and butt-splices to cut and splice your **** back together with instead of buying extensions.

Either way, it doesn't matter considering what oange ss posted.

just make sure their is a good solder connection and you'll be just fine.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't the signal wire that got cut. I soldered them together last night, put heat shrink tubing on it, then used electrical tape to complete the job and tie everthing together.

The only reason I asked was that I remember reading that splicing the wires could change the frequency from the sensor, but obviously not all the wires are for signals since they are heated.

Thanks for the replies guys.
