Default borla plates?

hey guys I tried putting it in the wanted section but not too sure how often it is browsed )

Im looking for the 1/4 open, 1/2 open, 3/4 open, and block of plate.

I have the wide open plate in, but when I mived, it seems I didnt bring my bag with the plates in it go figure.

I figure on inspection it may pass the sniffer if I block it off and force it to go through the muffler ) Once i have the cam, and lt's put in. It'll have a catted y-pipe.

thanks

For 40$ an angle grinder and some scrap metal would have done the trick.

This is what you need right here buddy:

http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/...ct_detail&p=55

Fits right inside your Borla, I have it on my T/A and love it. Screw getting under the car getting them three bolts out and swapping plates. You just flip a switch and its open or closed.

Peace,
Craig.

Ok, wow Didnt even know anyone made such a thing specifically for the borla CB. I am getting ready to start changing over plates until I find one that I like but.................might be getting this instead! Anyone use it?

I have had it inside my Borla for a little over 2 years now, and still works great. They are a little slow to open and close, like four seconds to open/close, but works fine.

If you order one make sure you order the one made to fit inside Borla, it's the link I posted I believe. The blade size is smaller, small enough to spin inside a 3" Borla exhaust.

I've had Borla on about 3 of my f-body cars, and I wish I had this on all of them, very nice control over sound.

Peace,
Craig.

Mehh. Screw the plates and Quetec. I run no plate all the time. Took it thru emissions a couple times w/headers, no cats, and a 224 cam.

Thats not for everybody, more so the guy who posted this thread. He wanted plates for his Borla.

It is nice to close it up and have some silence for a change.

But you are right about the emissions thing. If your area just hooks up to your computer, it does not matter then.

Peace,
Craig.

Ya I hear ya. I closed mine up completely for a lil while last year. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, even with the cam and no cats. I always seem to go back to no plate tho. I love the adjustibility of the Borla, and the tips. Underated imo.

You're right, very underrated. It's the only adjustable cat-back for our cars and has a lifetime warranty, and looks great.

Peace,
Craig.

Its says the bolt-on cutout is adjustable. How can you tell if it is open say 2 inches vs the wide open and so on? Not sure if it is an all open or all closed thing.. or can you adjust it

Going back to the borla dyno sheet. http://www.ws6.com/mod-5.htm . it seems the 2.75 and 2.25 plates did better than the full plate or no plate. I didnt have a 1.5 inch plate.

I think I will put int he 2.75 plate so it'll hopefulyl still sound mean
