putting the car back on the street, need a muffler i can slip on the header colector or with minimal extensions that flows halfway decent and dont sound like a top fuel, mine is hideously loud in track form and bullets do next to nothing to help that.
who know of a good one, how much we talkin, where do i get them
thanks guys

Not sure that any good flowing small muffler will really help much in reducing the db level. Borla make some header mufflers but I can't seem them making that much difference.
Magnaflow bullets seem to be reknown for being slightly quieter than other bullets maybe one of their 3" core 4 or 6" round mufflers would work?

hmm .. its well known in the community that SLP makes a muffler for the 2OTL catback and it is one of the quietest. They probobly have one that has a center/center inlet and outlet for ya. another one that quiets down the system but sounds damn good is flowmaster. not the 80 series that all ls1 owners are aware of, but the ones made to not be LOUD, but just mellow and still sound good. wish u luck though tryin to quiet it down a hell of a lot heh.
im doin just the opposite, throwin on shorty's, ory, to a single center/center muffler thats known for being the loudest just as a catback :-) :-)

i think some moroso spiral flows would sound killer, flow pretty well, and are the exact same size as a bullet. i am kinda bias though. i do know that mine is one of the only LS1's that is not raspy at all

BTW, why is the T/A going back on the street?

Bullets are loud and ghey. I hated them. They sounded like tuned open headers.
I suggest doing Borla XR1's like I suggested in the admin thread. Of all the duals I ever ran, those were the quietest.
