The back seat? Do you smoke? Only likely guess would be a cigg butt that didn't make it all the way out the window.

There's a wiring harness on the passenger side that goes back to the Monsoon amp and tailights. Could something over there shorted out and caught the seat on fire???

No I am one of his friends and it looks like it came from under the car..., its like right under the butt parts of the back seat (where you actually sit). You got me but it has a nice black hole under the seat.

figured it out.i was racin one of my freinds once and they said that the cut out shot out flames, (no cats or muffs) well the cut out is rite before where the fire started, and if u look under the car it looks like thats wut it is...i have it bolted up for now.but do u think puttin a heat sheild above it will solve the problem.?

I used to have a cutout and I ran a heatshield under the back seat where your butt sits, the floorboard, and up where your back sits.

Default Proper heat shielding

Make sure you guys use proper heat shielding if you run open pipes/cutouts under the car.

Wow that's crazy that a Cutout could actually start a fire like that.. Apparently i'm adding a heatshield if I ever save enough to get a cutout
