Adding LT's will make it run alittle rich. If you dont plan on adding a cam or heads in the near future for a 100$$ it would be worth it. Also if you going to run offroad headers and Y pipe they will turn off the dtc's for the ses light.

Tune is necissary to optimize the power gains, but if you have larger mods coming I would wait, if not go ahead.

$100 sounds like a great deal! It is going to cost me about $350-$450 to get a tune after I install mine.

Thats the same shop I am looking at for a tune after my cam swap. Let me know your experiences with them.

Thanks,

$550 isnt bad, most shop charge around $450-$500 for a full dyno tune. As everyone else has said it isnt completely neccessary, especially if your going with bigger mods in the future (cam, heads, FI, etc), so if your planning any additional mods id hold off. If you want to get it tuned though and have the codes delted for the ory then go for it, just see if they give you a deal like 1 retune for free or a discounted retune if you think you will go with other mods in the future.

For the price, I'd say go ahead, not only do you get the car set up to get the most hp out of the headers, but you can get the codes cleared, (I'd get rid of the AIR at the same time) and set the parameters wide enough that you won't get any o2 codes.
You may not need a tune for the car to run, but you can benefit from one
