Default car throwing code

guy at autozone said my 02 sensor was out in bank 2, now is it gonna hurt the car to leave it like this for a bit or do i need to fix asap, cause i am broke and ya i got under the car it looks like the header melted the 02 almost in half

Aside from the obvious annoying SES light, it'll mess with the air fuel mix (probably give you crappy MPG) IIRC the default program is rich so you don't burn up a cyl

O2 sensors are what determine how much gas goes in. So like 2K2WS6TA, you will probaly get bad gas milage.

ya i am getting horrible milage, ugh this always happens ill have to take pics maybe yall can tell me what to do to keep it from burning up!!!!!!

You said bank 2, but is it sensor 1 or sensor 2? Sensor 2 refers to the rear O2, which shouldn't affect fuel. If it's pre-cat as 2001NBMZ28 said, then it should be fixed asap. Check the parts for sale section. I've seen them on there for cheap. Should be an easy fix.

the 02 that melted runs right next to the headers and into the cat
