Default Hooker Headers

I was wondering if anyone has used 1 7/8 before, and what is your opinion on them

Check out this thread. It seems that 1 3/4 headers work best for most applications.

My opinion....headers work because of velocity at low restrictions....unless you are building a killer high displacement high revving LSx you will not need the 1 7/8...with a LS1 346ci street engine it may even cost you horsepower as your velocity and scavenging effect will not be there.
