Default Underdrive key way??

I was installing an underdrive pulley last night and i noticed that there was no "key way" on the end of my crank.... is this normal for the LS-1's?? I know this probably sounds stupid, but what keeps the pulley from spinning on the end of the crank?

Yes it's normal, it's held on by the interferance fit, and the bolt.
BTW if you run a supercharger with high boost, you drill a hole in the crank and pulley for a dowel pin to keep the pulley from spinning on the crank at high boost pressures
