Default Internally balance?

is the Ls1 internally balance ? if it is would the harmonic balancer make the car shake? or flywheel? im sorry about all this questions but i bought a new balancer and i like to know if that could be the problem but i noticed the balancer doesnt have a keyway so how is it a balancer?

It's really a dampener, not a balancer, your logic is correct. The engine is internally balanced.

However, I think that flywheels and clutches are balanced together, then slapped on to a balanced engine.

So, if you replace your clutch, you should also get a new flywheel, or get the old flywheel balanced with the new clutch. (Some people have had problems with this before.)

im sorry i forgot to say i have a A4 and had the transmission rebuilt couple of weeks ago and a new converter but the car shakes a lot im wonder is the flywheel or the balancer is the problem
