Default MAF Question

I recently purchased a SLP mass airflow sensor along with a cold air package. After installing the setup, The mass airflow sensor plug is straight up and the part that says SLP is off to the right. Every other one I saw had the plug to the left and the SLP straight up. Did I do something wrong? The smooth bellows is tabbed and so is the MAF. Everything fits right the car runs good it just looks like the MAF is turned to much to the right. By the way the car is a 2000 camaro ss

Mine is turned to the right as well. If it were straight up it would rub the hood.

Ive seen others though the that plug was to the right more and the SLP was straight up. Even the adapter wire they give you seems long for the way I have it installed as if it meant to be turned to the left.
