Default Got my headers today. Edelbrock victor LT

Summit dropped them off about an hour ago. They are pretty nice for the price. I will get to putting them on sometime this week. I took a few pictures for everyone. Even though they look exactly the same as everyone else posted already. When I get them on I will most likely end up ordering some 3" pipe and misc bends and build my own exhaust. Anyway, here are the pics.

Nice! I'm planning on getting the same ones pretty soon. I'm just undecided on getting the race version or not because of the ability to "tune" them vs the collectors being pre-welded on, on the ones with emissions.

Do you plan on getting any before/after numbers? (dyno and/or track) I'd be real interested in seeing what kind of gain you'd get from taking the time to tune the lengths.

The 02 extensions do come with them. Everything in the package you see in the pictures.

I havent ordered mufflers or anything yet. I want to install the headers and then spend some time under the car looking to see how I want to run the exhaust. Most likely I will be using 2 spintech mufflers.

For now I am not going to mess with the length of them. If i decide to a little later it will be pretty easy since I have a bandsaw I can cut them with. They are not bad for the price and if I end up not liking them ill get something else.

I have these headers and put them on this weekend. The clearence is great, they tuck up very nicely, even with a 3.5" collector. I go slow over speed bumps and have yet to scrape them.

I only had a little bit of issue with sliding the driver's side in due to the metal casting block, but the passanger side slid in perfectly.

Right now I'm forced to run open headers as my Y pipe hadn't gotten here in time, so my car is loud as all hell.

Just reuse the original copper ones. They work great and wont leak or blow.

Yeah, I had a few more than that when I put mine on. The copper gaskets don't go bad, unlike the paper ones. But if you want to change it so you can sleep at night, I'm pretty sure they are resonably priced from a dealer. I don't think the local parts store will have them.

Definitely. The ones that came with mine were paper so I just reused the original copper gasket. Its just a personal preference. The only advantage is if some of your bolts loosen up a litttle, there is a chance the paper gasket could blow then you have to replace it. Where as all you have to do is retighten the copper gasket.
