FAST 90 install?
I'm a little confused here right about now. I just recieved my new FAST 90 and NW90 tb (sweet pieces by the way) The intake is obviously fully assembled. My question is how I bolt this down to the heads.
The bolts with nuts on them, do I remove the nuts and just bolt it to the heads?
Thanks in advance

hahaha welcome to my world...I dont think I have even been so confused after reading those directions.
Obviously you need to remove the nuts...I figured that much out.
But there is something with the gasket for the TB. When I have it in there the NW tb does not want to sit flush against it, then I take the gasket out - perfect!
I dont know why this is so confusing to me?!

You need to remove the nuts from the long bolts, and also might want to tighten the smaller nuts/bolts at the front and back. After you put the manifold in place, you stick the long bolts in the holes again and they will screw into the threads.
BTW - When did you order your TB, and when exactly did you get it?

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I thought I had to do, just wanted to make sure. As for the throttle body. I ordered the intake, the throttle body and my 37lb injectors on Saturday night (4/22/06) and recieved my injectors yesterday and the intake and tb today!
Injectors were ordered directly from racetronix and the intake/tb were ordered from ls1speed.

Or else the intake will NOT mate to the heads and you will have a HUGE vacum leak.

okay maybe im not understanding but I bought a fast intake manifold and i installed it using the supplied bolts that connect the intake to the heads. I replaced the valley cover with a Z06 PCV conversion. I never changed any bolts on the valley cover. Everything seems to be working fine. Are you saying that your supposed to change the bolts on the valley cover with other bolts? If so i dont know but i dont have a huge vacuum leak (at least not one i know about!)

Well the LS6 valley cover may be thiner so the bolts don't stick up as high. But yeah your supposed to swap the bolts out. I've swapped out those bolts on about 5 cars that the previous installers doidn't swap out the bolts. The people came to me with idling issues. the bolts solved all of them.
