Default Pump on back of LS6?!?!?!?

what is the pump on the back of the LS6 manifold? The AIR tubes attach to it and then 2 very small thin lines go to the back of the intake manifold. If I delete the AIR system, can I remove this as well or is it for something else? Car is a 01 Z28

Thanks

I don't think you can remove it, so just plug it with a screw.

are you talking about plugging the intake with a screw?

take it all off. there is a ruber TEE pluged on the back of the intake. the part that goes to the passenger side in for your a/c controls. the part that goes to the driver side is for that AIR solenoid thingy.
take it all off and just plug the A/C control line to the back of the intake.

It clips into a slot on the intake manifold. You push the clip down with a screwdriver to get it to slide out of the slot, or you will break the plastic.
