I've heard of intank cleaners, and one hooked to the gauge port, and run thru, but not that method..
I clean and flow test injectors.
The process is:
Check for shorts/opens.
Remove filter baskets, and install new o'rings.
Install in the bench and flow test. This test finds bad spray patterns, leaks, inop injs.
Injs are then run thru an ultrasonic cleaner, that pulses the injs, and flows the crap back out the way it came in.
Once cleaned, they are again flow tested.
If alls well, the filters and the lower o'rings, backups and caps are installed.

This is the CORRECT way to clean injectors..
All for $110.00, plus return postage.
