Lid Question
hey guys, finally finished up all my winter mods, and forgot I bought a used SLP Flowpack
The lid doesn't fit very well, which I've picked up as a common problem. The tabs on the back of the lid wont slide on all the way...should I trim some of the smooth bellows?
also the latches wont stay latched, they pop off very easily...maybe pushing back the lid would help?
I was just wondering if anybody came up with any kind of fix?

My SLP lid fits great. Alot of people have the same problem with the latches coming loose. Check and make sure that the lip on the front of the lid is inserted into the slot. Once it is, you should have no problem with the latches popping off and it should be real snug.

Yeah if you have aftermarket bellows or the fernco you may have to trim them up. The lid fits one way and one way only. When I installed my lid with my stock stuff it was fine, when I put the fernco smooth tubes on I had to trim them down so those tabs would slide all the way in.
