Default Driveshaft rubbing on y-pipe

I replaced my 3" chromemolyl driveshaft with a 3.5" aluminum one, and I am prety sure it is rubbing. I didn't notice until after I drove it for about 5 miles or so, and when I got to my driveway I just turned the car off while it was still rolling and I could hear something rubbing. Since its the only thing I changed, and it is slightly bigger, I am 99% sure it is rubbing. What do you guys do to get more clearance from the y-pipe? I am thinking I can take a crowbar and try to push it aside as much as possible, but its welded together, so I dont think it will budge much if any. What do you guys think? thanks

Your choices seem to be, undo the welds and adjust the pipe, or heat the area of the pipe that is hitting and then dent it with a BFH, or maybe a little of both. Or you could go back to the stock drive shaft .

If you undo the welds with a die grinder, be careful not to damage the pipes.

Assess the situation, the decision is yours.
