As long as you don't live somewhere that it goes below 32°F all the time then you don't want to do it. It will just keep the TB from heating up and therefore having a cooler TB will make for colder air going into the intake.

It's a free mod..one that won't cost you much time or money, and might help out a tad by keeping the TB cooler so the incoming air doesn't heat up. Mainly it helps when removing the TB, because you don't have to mess with those two hoses.

You can also run a piece of hose from the block, directly to the radiator. Just pick up some 5/16" or 3/8" fuel line from an autoparts store. I can't remember which size I used, but the radiator side is a slight bit larger than the block side. You can also yank those coolant tubes out of the throttle body by spinning them and pulling. It's a BITCH, but they will come out as they are just pressed in.

There's plenty of information over this, do a simple search.

ok here is all u need... one 3/8" coupling (if u know a plumber ask him for a 3/8 pex coupling, or just find a guy driving a plumbing truck and ask him for one i dont know how much they are if u buy one) two 1/2" hose clamps, and two caps to cover the old lines....you dont need any hose, but it will be close to a pully , so you can ziptie it so it doesnt rub

Seems a little too complex than running a $0.50 hose from point A to point B.

And those tb tubes don't need to be plugged. The water does not circulate inside the TB, it just runs in one tube and out the other, they are actually touching each other inside the TB. You can just yank them out.
