Default Intake manifold question

I bought a polished aluminum Weiand/Lingenfelter intake manifold. I wanted to polish, or hone the inside but I wasn’t expecting a price to hone for more than the manifold cost.

Then I was wondering if the inside could be ceramic coated. I’m not sure if that would solve my honing cost problem or if it would end up giving me another problem. Would the ceramic coating keep the heat in? I know they coat it on the outside so I’m sure that would do the same thing. Has this even been tried before?

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Anyone know a place to hone the inside for a better than $700 price tag?
