Default Side-exit duals...

Does anyone here have them? I saw a clip of a black WS6 with a 231/237 on LS1Sounds and I was wondering how the interior drone is on the highway...

Right now I've got a dumped Y, I love the sound but I have to wear earplugs on any highway trips over 45min, haha

Sounds like a clearance nightmare. I bet that you saw the picture of that h pipe that has the mini-Z28 tips that stick out the side. that picture disgusts me.

Yeah I couldn't figure out what the hell was up with that guy. At first, I thought the camera was attached to the car with how much it was shaking

I am going to be dumping my Bullets before the axle, but will be angling them at more of a 45* angle instead of perpendicular to the ground to alleviate the interior rattle a tad bit and possibly gain a little on clearance as well.

Yeah, I'm talking about some 3" (or so) oval pipe with a slash-cut kinda that exits in front of the rear wheels. I was thinking maybe some boomtubes but I don't know if I'll have the room around my torque arm

BLULS1Z28 - how was highway drone? What all was in your set-up?

I have friends with angled dumps under the car and they still get drone... I'll probably end up doing that but if there's any way I can cut the drone I'd rather try it. Also, if I can squeeze them out the side I may or may not run any mufflers, so the clearance issue isn't really a problem.

I have considered doing boom tubes. Only cause they are great for being loud!

You could get some revenge on those god aweful Harley's that have their exhaust pointed directly at my ear drum.

It's amazing the damn fake bikers around here and their incredibly loud exhaust. I've heard some that put my car to SHAME when I had the original TSP duals in terms of volume.
