I say just sell the loudmouth and go with the slp dual dual.

You can always replace the resinator as well.

No cats = rasp on any exhaust set up with the LS1 due to the firing order it seems. I have a Dynomouth on the stock cats and manifolds for now (getting serviced at the dealer) and it sounds great like this. Almost as loud as the loudmouth resonator but more refined, deeper and less raspy. W/o cats i dont like it which is why im getting a catted y-pipe. You will only give up 3-5 hp and will have no rasp or drone.

i have an offroad y pipe with longtubes and i used a magnaflow muffler in place of the lm resonator.

i dont know how loud the lm is compared to the magnaflow muffler but when driving normal its not to loud but at wot its just insanely loud, my one buddy says its scary loud, which i guess is a good thing, because he says its sweet.

The guy that lives down the road from me has a heads/cam/big stall transam with longtubes/ory/dynomouth. It's still loud and raspy as hell, but better than the lm resonator was. I'd put cats on it if I were you.....it's gonna continue to be raspy otherwise, no matter what muffler you weld in there.
