Default meziere water pump

Where 's the thermostat located on the meziere electric water pump and is it the same kind that goes in a stock ls1?

Yes I believe so.

Edit - I was wrong, it seems that it uses a SBC style thermostat.

Here's a full writeup.

As corrected above, it uses a SBC thermostat. Drill two small holes in the flange, 180 degrees apart & install it in the top of the pump. The holes are to allow air to escape. Stock location for the stat is in the lower water neck. On the Mezier, mount the t stat in the upper neck (return from radiator). This allows air to escape @ the highest point possible.

Also, do not remove the in-line fuse. Meziere won't warantee the pump if the fused protection has been removed.
