i would steer clear of the flowtechs and get a set of pacesetters, preferrably coated.they are not much higher and have thicker flanges than the flowtechs.the flowtechs are prone to leaking around the flanges.

i just recently got my flowtech long tubes ceramic coated put on and love them .been about 3 months on and no leaks .for the price and fitment i would recomend them if price is a object .but after the install and the fitment the only other header i would consider is the pacesetters heres a sound clip of my flowtechs and true duals http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...E5CBBF8B96.htm

Flowtechs and their weenie flanges aren't worth saving a couple of $$. Just spend another $100 and buy the ceramic coated Pacesetters. It's worth $100 for a quality header, with thick flanges and no leaks.

You could always buy the gm flanges and welded them in place of the flowtech ones if you are set on the flowtechs. $25 extra is better than $100.
